On Friday we had a PRIDE Day. We spoke to 4 Year 6 children about what Respect means to them.
The House groups had a singing competition – all House groups had to sing ‘Individuality"’. Each group had 30 minutes to come up with a world class performance! The winning house was Fyvie.
2011, May 27, Friday – The Dunsandel Cross Country was held. There were 12 races. There were 5 year olds, 6 year olds, 7 year olds, 8 year olds, 9 year olds and 10 and 11 year olds. Most people came back with a red face and the whole school showed PRIDE when they ran the cross country.

This term we have been learning about Pride of the Past. Some classes like Room 2 and Room 3 have been baking. Room 2 have been making butter and Room 3 have been making bread. Some classes have been making stuff, like Room 4. They have been dying some wool and have been learning about and making buzzy bees. Room 1 have written a book about what life used to be like in the past. Room 6 have been making projects about their ancestors and dioramas about New Zealand history.
